The study will develop quantitative relationships between the sorption-desorption behaviors and availabilities of PBTs in contaminated sediments and develop methodology for predicting the availability and mobility of PBTs in sediments. Results will enhance understanding of environmental behaviors and the fate of contaminants in sediments.
