Investigation of the influence of several treatment and storage types on harmful pollutant removal from biosolids

The objective of this collaborative study is to determine the fate   of several groups of CECs during biosolids storage, and through   three "further treatment" technologies: Lystek, N-viro, and   pelletization. The results from this study, combined with previous   investigations on the fate of selected CECs through the liquid   treatment stream and the fate of CECs during sludge digestion and   dewatering, will serve to provide a comprehensive picture of the   fate of CECs through municipal wastewater treatment processes in   Ontario.    (chemicals of concern); (chemical of concern); (chemicals of   emerging concern); (chemical of emerging concern); (toxic organic);   (toxic organics); (toxic metals); (toxic metal); (human health);   (wastewater); (Ontario)
