Endocrine-Mediated Effects of Estrogenic Compounds and Persistent Organic Pollutants in Fish Populations from Eastern Lake Erie

Results from this project could be used as a model for assessing the   impact of WWTPs (wastewater treatment plants) and animal husbandry   on Great Lakes fish populations and will help determine whether new   treatment technologies are needed to protect the Great Lakes   ecosystem under the Legacy Act.     (endocrines); (endocrine-mediated effects); (estrogens); (estrogenic   compounds); (estrogenic); (organic pollutants); (Lake Erie);   (wastewater treatment plants); (WWTPs); (wastewater treatment   plant); (WWTP); (POP's); (POPs); (POP); (persistent organic   pollutants); (persistent organic pollutant); (toxic organic); (toxic   organics); (fish consumption); (restrictions on fish consumption);   (chemicals of concern); (chemical of concern); (chemicals of   emerging concern); (chemical of emerging concern)
