Upper St. Clair River Habitat Restoration (Port Huron, MI)

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County will restore 4,300 feet of shoreline by removing 700 feet of seawall and 2,600 tons of debris, will construct 0.75 acres of native fish spawning habitat, and will construct 1.75 acres of shallow water nursery habitat in the St. Clair River Area of Concern. This project will benefit native fish species including lake sturgeon, lake whitefish, and walleye.
