PHOSPHORUS TRENDS IN LAKE MICHIGAN: WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM MEASUREMENTS, MODEL RESULTS AND A LITTLE COMMON SENSE

Field measurements from a variety of field studies and output from mathematical models were used to construct a total phosphorus (TP) loading and concentration history for Lake Michigan from the 1950s to the present.
